COUNSELORS :: KIM KALI-SCHULTES

Kim is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois. She earned her graduate degree from the University of Kansas (KU). She most recently obtained International Certification as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate and renders individualized treatment for individuals with both mental health and substance abuse challenges.
As a life long learner with a diverse background, Kim has provided psychotherapy, consulting and workshop services in a variety of settings. Currently, she is in training with the Gottman Relationship Institute. Kim is committed to embodying the principles she advocates in her own life and she pursues advanced clinical training in various modalities of healing. She believes that the synergy of mind, body and spirit is the most effective approach to authentic self expression and becoming the change we seek within ourselves. Employing cognitive behavioral therapy practices in all of her work, Kim knows that you become what you believe.
Kim works with primarily adults, couples, families and professionals facing emotional, physical and spiritual challenges. She takes a holistic and supportive approach utilizing analytical Jungian psychology, a family systems framework, and cognitive behavioral insight oriented therapies with an emphasis on client intention and intuition, coping skills and personal empowerment goals.
